In My Heart, Inc. is an independent non-denominational religious humanitarian organization. We strive to help children in poverty stricken countries, to be healthy, educated, and by believing in Jesus Christ become moral and contributing members of society.
A percentage of the proceeds will be used to provide assistance for needy children by sponsoring a variety of programs to take care of their needs and enhance their human dignity in meaningful and lasting ways.
The following are our current and planned programs:
1. Orphanage - Southeast Asia countries have many abandoned children. Baby girls and those who are born with defect or illness, often are quickly given away by their parents. Many have died from lack of timely care during the transition.
2. Prisoner’s Children Center - The children of prisoners in Asian countries receive no assistance from their governments. In order to survive, most turn into criminals themselves by stealing, robbing or committing other petty offenses. Our shelters will provide basic needs, education and a life changing experience for many. They will be God’s warriors in the foreseeable future.
3. Disabled Children Center - It is estimated only one in 50 handicapped people in Asian countries receives private or public assistance. The rest are taken care of by their immediate family members. Many live in desolate conditions and not wanting to cause a burden to their family, have committed suicide. Official record showed there were 287,000 suicidal deaths a year in China alone; each one came with 8 unsuccessful attempted suicides. It is estimated by Hoffman & Hoffman Worldwide, there are 8 million children born with major birth defects each year, among them, 3.3 million died under age of 5.
4. Psychiatric Hospital for the Muslims in Middle East - Muslim society is extremely conservative, especially dealing with mental patients. Any mental illness is considered a great disgrace to the family. As a result, they are either locked in or treated inhumanly. An open door will be provided by this hospital and bring a New Life to many. This center will also function as a shelter for abused girls and women, who often are threaten with death by their family members due to religious or cultural reasons. There is no way out for them in the society.
In My Heart, Inc. has enriched the lives of those who are less fortunate. Volunteers and staff help by serving as fund raisers, special events assistants, and in numerous other capacities.
As the missions continues to mature, many children of the past, present, and future will have an opportunity to be prosperous regardless of their race, gender, religious background and birth origins.
